Produced by Happy Giant, one again scored by The Jared Emerson-Johnson Orchestra, this brand-spankin new(er) title brings Sam & Max to your (virtual)Reality! Strap on that headset and get ready to squeal like a siren, because you're the newest member of the Freelance police! This game takes place in the city we all know and love, as we stop various disadjacent crimes to prove ourselves to these wonderful freelance police, trainign at an abandoned theme park, until it turns out that a lot of tardigrades were using items we had used to vanquish foes of our previously disadjacent(now adjacent) crimes to make an enlarging machine. The game(obviously) is played with a virtual reality headset/device, and is a puzzle game.

"Alright Lumpy! We are gonna turn that weak, flabby body of yours into a Mean, Lean, Freelance Policin' machine! Do you understand me??

The game featured new, higher-quality models and more expressive animations and rigs. The Telltale voice actors returned to reprise their roles, and that same charm was kapt-although, a bit toned down for modern audiences. It was a hit on most platforms, and showed how often Sam & Max hop from studio to studio. It seemed to have ret-conned a majority of the previous games and episodes, while also doing the classic Sam & Max habit of introducing at least 5-9 characters that you'll only ever see in that studio's titles.
